Wink Instructing Qualifications

Hi there people,

I was just wanting to know what tests you need to pass to get onto the flying instructing courses at CPL and above (ATPL),
do you need to pass the nav and tech theory exams for both or do you need to pass all the groundschool exams for the CPL and ATPL

Cheers guys.

Hi,

You need JAR CPL theory knowledge as a minimum. ie. you have to attend a JAR CPL course (either full time or distance learning) and take/pass all of the nine exams.

Alternatively, esp if you want to do a IR in the next few years, you could do a JAR ATPL course.

Good luck.
