CPL(A) before SE IR skill test? (EASA)

I hold a PPL(A) and I've finished the SE IR training but the examiner nominated will not be available for a few more days as his duty has changed. Since I'm running out of time with my ATPL theory and every day counts, I'm wondering if I can start with the CPL training before doing the SE IR skill test actually? With 100h PIC and night rating in the PPL I'm basically eligible to start a CPL training, the only thing that bothers me is that if you don't have IR then your CPL training is 25h and if you do it is 15h.

That being said, can I start with the CPL training with those 10h credited based on the ATO IR Certificate or eventually credited after taking the IR skill test. I'd anyway take SE IR before taking CPL + ME IR skill test.

Hi there...I suggest you to study the EASA Part FCL, here you find your answers.

1) You can start CPL training with PPL + 150 TT, the 200 TT and 100 PIC is only for the CPL skill test;
2) The 10 hours of Basic is credited also without the IR skill test rating...just the training...
3) Before starting IR ME you need IR SE + CR MEP skill test done.
4) To do the CPL MEP you need the CR MEP training (not the CR MEP skill test)

Thanks Flyfede80
That's how I was interpreting Part.FCL as well, just wanted to confirm it.
