FAO NAPLES AIR CENTER
Richard,
I am looking at coming out to sit the PPL & Night rating course with yourselves later this summer, and I have a few questions:
1. Is it, or is it not possible for me to sit ALL JAR exams whilst in the UK?
2. What is the approximate ALL INCLUSIVE price i.e. return fares to US, course, accomodation and food that most of your ex students have paid out for? Just so that I have a rough figure of how much to save.
3. Do I need an FAA medical if I already hold a UK JAR Class 2? If, so can this be arranged at NAC?
4. Am I correct in assuming that an American Air Law exam will need to be passed in addition to the UK air law?
Sorry, if these questions have been asked previously, but the only time I have access to the internet is during work, so it was quicker just to post this message.
Thanks In Advance

Andy,
I would be happy to answer all your questions, but I do not believe the forum would be the correct place to do so. Posts of that type have been considered as advertising in this forum, and I do not want to break forum rules.
Would it be ok if I personally email you at [email protected] ?
Talk to you soon,

Andy....whatever NAC may say to you...not only is it POSSIBLE to sit the written exams (and the R/T practical) before flying to the West...it is HIGHLY DESIRABLE!!
Go to your nearest flying school - get some groundschool AND DO THEM ALL!!!
(You will regret it later if you don't).

Yep, listen to Gonewest, get all the writtens out of the way before you turn up!
Otherwise its just another (pointless) worry and you wont be able to have the odd night out whilst you are there.
Julian.
