It's a welcome distraction for me as I'm currently sat at the Hospital waiting for my nephew to have heart surgery

Hope everything goes well for your Nephew, that's an awful worrying time for your family.

I was also successful 😇

Yes thanks, had a stable night, he's got further surgery tomorrow but he's over the main hurdle. Thanks for asking 👍

Yes, received an email saying congratulations with a link to login to the candidate portal/BA account where there was a list of dates to choose from.

What did your email say?

I had the same email, but couldn't book over the weekend as I needed to ensure I could get the time off work. All available slots have been taken in the meantime, but they have stated they will add more dates in due course.

According to the time frames listed in the job advert (and quoted a few times earlier in the thread), Skyborne in-person is due to span over three weeks - leaving around a week left to book when they release further dates, if I'm not mistaken.

I’d suggest to anyone going to an airline or any other interview that formal business attire, a “lounge suit” to an old crusty like me, is what is appropriate. Dark suit, white shirt and (for men) a red tie.

The beauty of this style is that if you turn up and everyone else is in “business casual”, you can remove the jacket/waistcoat and tie and you’re instantly in a more casual outfit. Turn up in chinos and a shirt to find everyone else is in a suit and you’ll feel very out of place.

Okay that makes sense, definitely difficult to book it around work as well.

if they’ve said they’re going to book more dates could be a case of just wait for them to release. If you’re worried, a quick email to the recruitment team is always an option.

Skyborne interview

There seems to be 2 slots a day, 8.30 and 11.30. Does anyone have an idea how many people per slot? I believe others have mentioned but is it a case of simply sitting, waiting for your interview in the meantime whilst you're there?

Also, is there any prep pack that has been shared (I might have missed it)?

PSA that they’ve just released some more slots, I didn’t manage to book mine over the weekend and have just managed to if anyone still needs to!

I have not received any form of ‘what to expect’ documents, just the ‘getting here’. Would also be interested in know more about the format of the day.

Did they add an extra week of dates on at the end or fit you in with the existing dates?

Exam software for FTE assessment

Hi everyone! Got the note yesterday about the exam software needed for the FTE assessments, I can’t use my personal laptop as it’s apple, and the software won’t work with the security systems on my work laptop.

Did anyone who did the Skyborne assessments have the same issue & have suggestions?
