Just got the email. Bad news for me unfortunately(Skyborne). Looks like full tilt ahead for the modular path for me now. If anything, this process has made me realise that this career change is a possibility and something I deeply want.
Good luck to everyone who made it through to the next stage. And for those who didn't, don't give up!

Well done Skyborne folks who got through, and to the others just please try and be proud of the fact you were obviously appealing enough to make it from 40,000 to the last 800ish.

I'm FTE and heard nothing, the agony continues... for now.

40,000? I thought it was around the 25k mark? That's a big jump from last year

They said at the FTE day I was at there were 40,000 people who accessed the application and 17,000 fell at that stage (ie didn't complete the form correctly) they said they were down to the last 830 so a massive achievement for everyone in the process. Enjoy Waterside, I really enjoyed it and met some great people

thank you for clarifying, really interesting. Sadly it was a no for me as well, but good experience that I will take with me when I reapply next year. Congrats to those who made it through and maybe see you on the line at a later stage

We were told in Waterside that there were 16000 applicants this year, 813 made it through to waterside/Skyborne online tests.

Still a great achievement getting that far!

Is that 16,000 who just selected Skyborne? It was Lucy Sylvester (head of pilot recruitment) who gave those figures I quoted in my previous post

We were also told 40,000 sent in an application, and 17,000 fell short of the eligibility criteria. And then approx. 800 made it through to the FTE waterside assessments/Skyborne online assessments.

Hi all, made it through as well. Congrats to all of those who made it. Does anyone know when will the medical be in case I make it through? I must keep in mind that I could do everything right and still not being medically fit for whatever reason. Thank you !

anyone know if there’s a ‘what to expect’ pack on the British airways portal? I think it said there will be in the email but I can’t seem to see it?

Thank you, same to you! Funny how an email stops you dead in your tracks - hoping others got news they were waiting for
