1. For procedures training is the FNPT2 simulator better than the old FNPT1? I know the FNPT2 looks flash and has visuals where as the FNPT1 has none but what about similarity to the Seneca/Seminole/Cougar regarding performance and general "feel".
2. Are single engine hours as part of the IR course a waste of time bearing in mind the IRT is on a twin with asymmetric flight? Most schools still do 10hrs - Arrow, 25hrs - sim and 15hrs - twin. Is it feasible and sensible to replace the Arrow time with FNPT2 time or not?
Many thanks.

You should check out the Leeds Flying School they do 25 hours FNPT 1 25 hours twin on the IR. Some schools do 40 hours in the FNPT 2, however this doesnt give you much practice at the real thing.
