Post Summer job for 16yr old srudent?

Hi everybody.

I live in the UK and I'm just about to start (and finish!) my GCSE's, and the summer hols are coming around.

Does anybody know of where I can get a temporary job in the aviation industry (not flying....obviously) to make a bit of money and also to get close to aircraft!!

I live in UK as I have said, so a job IN THE UK would be nice.

Thanks ever so much to all that reads and helps.

Try phoning yer local flight schools and ask if they want anyone to come and wash the planes etc (you may not get paid for this - and it may be bloody boring too)

An alternative could be to try and get a job that has interaction with the general public - if yer going for something like the BA scheme eventually then a stint working in a shop can be every bit as valuable as washing an aircraft.

But most importantly HAVE FUN!!!! Summers after 16 seem to have involved a helluva lot more work and precious few times for relaxation!
