payment up front to flight schools
Was just watching the news here in Holland. One flight school here in the South of the country has gone bankrupt leaving quite a few students out of pocket.
I thought I share this with you guys and I am aware this has been discussed in the past but:
You should never ever make payments of 100 000 Euro upfront
to a flight school. This has happened in the above case. Use payments in instalments instead if you decide to embark on this very risky adventure.
Regards

Same happend in Norway, about a year ago.
They took in students at the end of desember, took 3 payments (it was splitted into 4), so about 75k€ and was bankrupt in start of jan.
Im my self, not even paying 6000 upfront. 2-3k is max.

Only pay up front what you are prepared to lose - in most cases, that should be nothing. ![Smilie](https://www.pprune.org/images/smilies/smile.gif)
And if something seems to good to be true, then it probably is.
