License Conversion: ATP Skills Test

Hi all,
I'm in the following situation:
more than 1500 hours on two-pilot aircraft,
are type rated already and
have more than 500 hours on type
you need to pass all 14 ground exams but don't need to attend a formal groundschool course. You may take a skills test on the aircraft you are rated on or you may choose to take two separate tests, a skills test for license issue and an IR conversion.
What sort of cost are you looking at for the test? I'd be looking at using an E170/190 sim, what do they charge for them in the UK?
Thanks

I'm no expert on this but with those hours you should be able to get a validation which allows you to fly aircraft registered in the JAA member state that has issued the validation.
In which case you don't have to do the 14 exams.

I am in the same boat looking to convert my FAA to JAA. It is my understanding that if you choose to to the skills test in the sim you have to get a JAA examiner at your own expence. (Pay for flights, hotel etc.)
I tried to call around to a few JAA schools here in US, and they are not very helpful. I was told that I have to sit the groundschool to get the signoff. And you need a signoff to take the 14 tests.
