Bristol Distance Learning
Hi there
I think it varies a lot from one person to another, but I had to forget about my social live to do it, and in the 2 months before a block of exams I spended about 6/8 hours a day studying, and really forgot the difference between working days and weekends, has all were the same, studying hard. Probably for some guys itīs possible to do it studying less, but if you want to make sure you pass with no doubts, and finish the course inside the attempts and time window, you can count on hard work, and invest all the spare time you have. I had previously done an ICAO CPL, and I tell you the JAA ATPL has 5 x more of content/difficulty.
And yes, I also confirm that Bristol Ground School was a big help. Theyr instructors know exactly what you need to pass the exams, and the help they give in the brush up and in the forum really helps to overcome the doubts.
Good luck with the course
