Converting UK ATPL(H) to Australian License?

Hi

I have just sat my first set of exams for the JAR ATPL and am looking to sit the next set in April 08. I have my PPL(H) and 85 hrs R22 time.

My question is that I may have the opportunity to join family in Australia and was wondering if anyone out there had any advice on whether it was better to gain my CPL(H) in the UK and then convert out in Australia. I plan to finish my ATPL exams and then do the extra hours i need and the CPL course in Australia? Not sure if it possible to do to convert the ATPL exams or would i have to do all the Australian exams?

Any Advice/ thoughts would be much appreciated.

Cheers
