ME CPL in America
Hi, I have a friend who is out in America at the mo, he is wanting to start his JAA ME CPL over there as quickley as pos, could anybody recommend a flight training organisation to complete this course?

Depends on a couple of things - Whereabouts in the USA is he/she and do they need a visa to train? If they're not a US citizen then they will need some paperwork first before anyone can train them. I don't know if that can be obtained over there.

He will need an M1 visa, this is meant to be done before entering the US. I have to wait 6 weeks for a visa interview in the US. After 9/11 its pretty difficult to just 'rock up' to a flight school for courses. He can hour build without a visa, as this is not classed as training - no license / rating is trained for. Anything else, dear knows. Should have thought about this before he got their really.
