IR renewal during MCC

I need some help/advice,
1)Can I renew my IR during a MCC course?
2)My IR needs renewal but I've been flying FAA135 and my FAA IFR is still current, does it make current evev the JAR?
Thanks.

1 ) - yes - our FNPT2 is approved for MCC use as a turboprop and for IR renewals as a Seneca and so you CAN renew (in Seneca mode) after "class" on one of the Groundschool days, at the middle weekend or at the end. However, the MCC "flying" can not be used for IR renewal.

2 ) No idea but probably what BB says!
