Delaying the validity of ATPL exams
When taking the ATPL exams you have 18 months from your first to last pass. After that, you have 36 months to get your certificates issued.
Is there any way to pass all exams but not start the 36 month period before the 18 month period have lapsed? Provided I have sittings enough, I could leave out VFR-com till the end of the 18 month period but that's not a very practical way to do it.
Also, if you have passed all ATPL exams but IFR-com, are you still able to get your CPL issued?

CPL issue
Martin,
I'd give the CAA a call to be entirely sure.
However, i doubt they will allow you to do what you want to unless you wait. If you are trying to save up or save money it may be worth looking into.
VFR comms is relatively straightforward so i understand your logic.
