transit Channel Danger Areas

Does anyone have experience of requesting a transit of the channel "tempo" danger areas EGD098 and French LFR402. Who does one call, the information is not very clear. London Info can be a lengthy process.

Obvoiusly if weather permits one can top the areas, however EGD098E requires 2500 ft, which could be a decision criteria for crossing.

AIC Y 084/2024 says a DAAIS for EGD098E is available from London Information or Lydd Approach, when Lydd is open.

No idea about LFR402.

I'd never want to be that low over water without a second engine.
