GA in New York City Area
Hi all,
I hold a PPL A (Ireland) and myself and my wife are travelling to New York in June of this year. While there I would love the opportunity to fly with an experienced pilot/instructor along the Hudson/East River VFR corridor and surrounding areas.
I would be very much obliged if anyone could recommend a Flying club within 30 miles of the city where I could arrange such a booking.
I'll be renting a car so getting to smaller airfields off the public transport grid is no problem.
Also, what is the typical hourly rental (wet) rate for a C172 or similar with an instructor in NY?
All replies appreciated.
Best Regards,
Barry

Saw a SEP fly over central park
Must be doable as I was in NYC a couple of weeks back and I was surprised to see a PA28 fly overhead central park
