Flaps Podcast - July 2011: The Feeling, G-BOAC & more
The July edition of the award-winning Flaps Podcast is available now..
Amazingly, it's our first birthday already. We've had a great year making our (British) aviation podcast - and we hope you've had a good year listening to it.
It's at FlapsPodcast.com and is on iTunes too.
In this edition we speak to Richard and Dan from top band The Feeling. One's been learning to fly fixed-wing, the other a chopper.
We get a tour of the museum-piece Concorde that's on display at the Manchester Airport Runway Visitor Park.
A private pilot broke an aviation record a couple of weeks ago: he visited (by air) the greatest number of airfields in one day. We find out how and why.
We catch up with Pet PPL Karl who's getting towards the end of his training, and Pablo Mason wonders if aviators should be a little nicer to each other sometimes.
And in the next few days we'll release longer versions of the Concorde and Feeling pieces as part of Flaps Extended.

Flaps Extended
Two Flaps Extendeds are now up. There's a longer version of Elliott's visit to the Concorde at Manchester and also of our interview with Dan and Rich from The Feeling.
New new Concorde is a whopping 45 minutes in duration (you can see why we edit them) and The Feeling is about 13 minutes.
