Kortrijk-Wevelgem
Anybody have any idea on what happens here? I want to go somewhere different this weekend, this is somewhere in "near-Europe" I haven't been to yet. Does anybody know anything about costs, nearby towns, restaurants etc.??? Please advise!!!

Wevelgem is a friendly field with a club bar and restaurant on the field, reasonable landing fees and fuel.
The nearby city of Coutrai is a short bus ride away with plenty of shopping and good bars and restaurants. Probably a lot of history if you have time to look.
Last time that I night-stopped there, it was in a quite plush hotel overlooking the main square and was about £60 for B+B for two people.
In general, a nice place although I've never made it a destination in itself.

I've not been for a couple of years, but always before its just been an inbound call, customs were dealt with in the terminal building opposite to the tower, all very informal.
They were more than happy to get your met. on the wire.
