Hi guys, when converting from NPPL (Microlite) to NPPL (SSEA) does the theoretical examination of Aircraft (General) & Principles of Flight have to be completed before carrying out the NPPL NST & GST

Cheers

From the NPPL SSEA syllabus and forms:

All theoretical knowledge examinations must have been completed before taking the General Skill Test.
and

An applicant for a General Skill Test shall have successfully completed all theoretical knowledge examinations including examinations in Communications with a practical Radio Telephony (R/T) examination.

All flight and ground training must be completed prior to taking the GST.

Have you explored the 3-axis route? Some of them are a lot better to run and fly than Cessnas/Pipers etc.

Are you looking at SSEA for a specific reason - more that 2 seats for example?

If not, as mentioned already, modern 3 axis machines are excellent in terms of performance, handling, cockpit space and ergonomics but most importantly for me -Cost.

Aircraft such as the Eurostar and Dynamic offer great flying for less than HALF the typical hourly cost of 150/172/PA 28.
