I did. It was the reason for the point about air print printers. In the future all printers will have wifi and the air print protocol. This will allow printing from any print enabled application. Air print is not apple specific, it is industry wide.

A few years ago bonjour was unheard of, now every printer has the bonjour stack pretty much. Same is the move from parallel to USB to network to wireless. Its a steady move to zero configuration network and universal access.

It may not be fast enough for our tastes but it is still movin that way!
