How much study does the PPL entail?

Hi everyone,
I apologise if this has been asked before but I've been thinking about starting my PPL and I was wondering how much theory study is needed during evenings/weekends?
What are your personal experiences?

Thankyou in advance.

To pass the exam, not a great deal. All the exams could be done in a week. But to understand it all, takes a little bit longer. In my personal experience.
