Swanwick Visit Yesterday

Hi Guys,

Yesterday, I took part in the Pprune organised visit to the NATS Air Traffic Control Centre at Swanwick.

It was an extremely interesting and useful visit and should any further such visits be organised, I strongly recommend anybody who can attend to do so.

I should like to express my personal thanks to BRL, who did all the work involved in organising the visit, and to the NATS team who gave their time to come in on a Sunday to show us all around.

We were a party of nine persons, but were split up into groups of about four when taken on escorted tours around the various departments. So we were able to see everything in detail and without difficulty and had ample opportunity to ask our questions, all of which were answered.

Strongly recommended: do go if you can.

Broomstick.
