Continental Airways, Hamburg - Newark - Orlando and back, 650 Euro ... Hotels in the area 50-90$, rental car 200$ a week - fun: priceless. Don't forget the medical aspect. That little sun you get in Florida increases your bodies vitamin D prodution and this helps to overcome the typical late winter depression we usually face up here in northern europe. If you have a good doctor, maybe you get this trip on subscription?

Thanks, but it's actually great flying weather in Holland at the moment. I had a lesson in a Super Cub yesterday and it's really beautifull. Blue skies over freshly snowed fields.

Two words don't match, no matter where you put the location reference: BEAUTIFULL and SNOW. On postcards, o.k. - but what does snow in real life? It's cold, it ruins your shoes, is slows your driving, it forces you into clothing you don't want to have on ...

It was snowing in Florida a few weeks ago! It is grey and miserable at the moment and 19C....

But Beautiful + Snow do go well together, especially when at the top of a mountain with a snowboard strapped to the feet
