Accommodation near Manchester Barton

Anyone know of anywhere local to stay, preferably within walking distance of the airfield?

Barton used to have an Airport Hotel until some numpty manager had it demolished

There's a cheapo chain hotel just up the road near Monton on the M60, but 4 1st hand info call the aerodrome, they speak a quaint northern dialect but it's perfectly understandable.

Ok thats a shame, an airport hotel would have been perfect.

I will give them a call in the morning. Any ideas on the cost to park overnight?

Pilot,

There is a Premier Inn/Travelodge over at the Trafford Centre. It also means you can fit in a bit of late night shopping and going bowling or go to the pictures.

Hi

There are several hotels in the local area. None really in walking distance, but a short taxi ride (Passenger Cars 0161 747 8000 or via the airfield reception), will get you to one within 5 mins.

In the Premier Inn at the Trafford centre, nice and close and yes, I did do some late night shopping
