Strip at Bodiam, East Sussex

Anyone know anything about the strip at Bodiam?

A few mates landed there about 10 years ago, but I wasn't aware there was a strip there. They just used a field with the owners permission.

I'll make some enquiries

Thanks mate. I watched a three man formation land there on Sat morning as I was nearby. Just didn't have time to go and have a closer look at that time.

The correct spelling is Bodiam, which is in East Sussex. The National Trust owns Bodiam Castle.

Are you sure you are not confusing it with the microlight strip at Northiam?

I don't think so. It looked like it was between the B2244 and the castle.

Do you have co-ordinates for Northiam?

Thanks for that link. It is definately not there, too far over from where I seen them land.

Possibly just a private field with permission to land there as mentioned above.
