My day in California!

This is just a quick post to say a great big THANKS to Shoreline flying club and Steve Philips at Palo Alto.. I had a fantastic day over California on Sunday and took loads of photos.

Weather was 24c, 5knots max of wind and 20miles of vis!

I will post some photos eventually but I don't have access to my web server whilst I am still in the US so can't put them up on here yet.

My only real surprise was that as a new PPL holder (since Aug) the RT Phraseology out here is very different.. I felt like a student all over again.

Visited three airfields during the day (Monterey 'Millionair', Livermoor (nice view in the restaurant!!) and Palo Alto and covered most of the west coast and bay area.

Cheers

Steve
