Irish Customs / Terrorism Obligations

Hi Guys,

I daresay this has been done to death, but I just want to clarify something regarding a flight on Wednesday, from Barton to Dublin and back again.

I have to send GAR 24 hours(?) in advance to Local Special branch and to customs to approve the flight. I send two, as I will be returning the same day.

What obligations do I have at the Irish end? When I flew to France customs came and said "bonjour" and then toddled off, do I have any forms to fill in for our green jumpered friends?

Horgy

When you're leaving Ireland, tell whoever you are buying fuel from that you are leaving the country, and they will give it to you duty free. That's all.

No customs are are you are coming from within the EU. No Immigration is necessary as you are coming from within the common travel area

Enjoy the trip.

look up the liffy vfr route from the pigeon house chimneys following the liffy towards weston it gives you a good view of the city.....(look it up though because it's pretty close to dublin apt) don't let that put you off.

If going to Weston, you might find this chart helpful as you cross the city

You might also find this article useful for general info on flying in Ireland
