Schools in and around Berkshire
Hi all,
It's my first post in this forum so be kind
I'm looking into doing my PPL in and around Berkshire area UK and was wondering if anyone could recommend a few decent schools based on past experience?
Many thanks,
MBR.

White Waltham is quite nice, but as far as I remember is all grass so may be restrictive if it gets a bit wet. British Airways Flying Club is very good but pricey (PM me as I got PPL there) and Wycombe Aviation (I think thats their name but same aerodrome as BAFC) are a little further up the road from White Waltham.

Re: Schools in and around Berkshire
i trained at white waltham, good school, good modern fleet of PA28s and a cub. IME of training over the winter period, as long as the wx was ok, the grass was not a problem.
ww has a very good clubhouse and a large and active membership, but worth looking at booker as well.
depending on what part of berks you are in blackbushe may also be an option.
good luck
