Without having Pooleys JAR-FCL logbook in front of me, I don't have a clue what cols 9 and 11 are. Any chance of a hint - like the column headings? My guess is that they are something along the lines of Instrument Flight, and Simulated Instrument Flight? In which case, any time you are under the hood is Simulated Instrument Flight, unless you were actually in IMC, in which case it is Instrument Flight. (Of course unless you were cheating you won't know the difference without asking your instructor!)
However, I wouldn't get too hung up on it, since there is no requirement for any specific amount of instrument time to be logged for the JAR PPL. (There was for the old CAA PPL I believe, but not any more.) As far as I'm aware, the only time this small amount of instrument time is in any way relevant, apart from applying for jobs, is if you want to become either an IMC or IR instructor, in which case there are minimum Instrument or IR times specified and your instrument training for your PPL can count towards this. Pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Someone please correct me if I've forgotten something major, though?
