Aerobatic Flyer,

You beat me to it by moments - content now pasted in above!

What's the point of winter if one can't nurture a few harmless fantasies?

How many British airfields come complete with a cellar I wonder? Looks as if one has to supply one's own wine though.

I didn't want anybody sneaking off and buying it before we had the chance to put our collective bid together, but I'm a trusting sort of chap so here is the missing bit...

The only thing that's missing is the price. -Nothing like the price to introduce a bit of reality into the dream!

FD,

An in-depth judicial review of my wallet reveals the remarkably well-balanced total of £30 and €30.

This may not be quite enough on its own, but with contributions from a few hundred more Prooners I'm sure it would be ours!

A minor point, and one which risks spoiling the fantasy!

Yes yes, I managed to work that out (despite never having read a French estate agent's blurb), I was commenting on the limitations of machine translation (or, at least, the limitations of free machine translation).

You can have the content of my loose change jar, it getting quite full, so i think there must be at least 20 quid in there. Might cost about £19 to post tho, as its quite heavy

OK, I'll contribute my first publication fee from Pilot (when they see the article, they'll love it, when I've written it), the £3.47 in my purse, my plastic recorder collection that I was saving for my first-born and my old 'Roberts Micro-Poche Dictionnaire' on the basis that it's been long enough since my A-levels that I wouldn't understand the definitions anyway.

Perhaps we could also flog some expired charts on ebay?

Quelle idee merveilleuse!

Now, we'll be needing a chef and a barman...
