Interesting statement by Mr. Holley.
Intruiging is his reference to emails he sent to Mr. Green and not his posted comments.
Mr. Holley then follows with:
There are former police officers working in many industries...providing fine and ethical service...and they belong to Unions. Why would Mr. Holley be disparaging police officers prior to the meeting?
Perhaps he realizes that he went too far and he is trying to do damage control for what he believes may happen.
Would love to read those emails

I would like to rely on police integrity here but as someone has pointed out tonight there are many ex police now working for BA's asset protection. Quite scary."

I'd like to see the original post that was so 'mocking' that one 'good member' CC has been suspended for the response and DH has got an appointment with Plod for emails sent that might constitute malicious communication or harassment. All no fault of their own you understand - it was so 'mocking' that they couldn't help themselves!
You simply couldn't make it up.

what are the chances of that?

It does get a bit amusing to hear the descriptive phrases that BASSA uses to describe their "poor, downtrodden" members and the "evil bullies" that persecute them...
If Jeffrey Dahmer was a BASSA member I suspect he would be described in Newsletters as an "experimental chef".

"Tony Woodley, joint general secretary of Unite, said he was calling a meeting of shop stewards across the airline to warn staff that BA was determined to reduce Unite's power within the carrier."
Sounds like a desperate last act, everything else has failed - but have not all the other BA unite branches come to negotiated agreements with BA - (with the exception of BASSA)

I hope we gather some insight into other departments feelings regarding this issue on other forums at Pprune.
I can't think of a less sympathetic division in BA to ask for others support. BASSA seems to dismiss and denigrate other units contributions at every opportunity.

VERY extreme, same here! Maybe we've caught extremism from Bassa as that seems to be their MO.
Despite the intense aggravation and disruption!!

Finky lives on another Planet, so his views are irrelevant!!
And the idea of him becoming an extremist is just too awful to contemplate.
You Kipper Fleet guys stick together regardless, don't you!

and that of course leads to satire ? - satyrs ? - this Greek methodology gets very confusing ........... but the 5 star methodology is very good .........
