JAA theory in NZ

Is it possible to study for and sit the european CPL/ATPL theory subjects in NZ (or OZ)?

No! Do a search mate, this has all been covered a million times over.

The poms will never let it go unless they can make money out of it. The yanks pay a fortune to get it over there.

At this stage no. It costs an absolute fortune to get JAA accreditation and as far as I know, no one has it in Oz/NZ.
If you want to do the subjects, your best bet is via Distance Learning, (I recommend Bristol Ground School) however you must do the exams in the UK. (if you want to deal with the UK and do the exams in the english language)

Not sure if BAE Sytems in Oz are still able to do them, but you had to be in a fulltime -flying- course.
