Captain Tony Lucas

Former Austalian Airlines/TAA Captain, Tony Lucas is unwell in Melbourne at present.
Tony instructed at Royal Vic and retired from the airlines in 1988. He helped many pilots to gain employment overseas in the following years.
I'm sure he would appreciate contact from former colleagues and friends.
Email me for contact details.

Geez, I saw the title to this thread and thought that the bids at QF must have come out and I got a slot and this was the way that someone was letting me know!

I do know that Tony was well respected whilst he was still working. I still get onto flights and some of the more senior folk ask me if we are related and when I say 'no', they tell me what a nice bloke he was when he was flying.

Sorry to hear that he is unwell and hope he has a speedy recovery. Shame it atually WASN'T what I hoped it was.
