Q maths/physics requirements
Hey i didn't do high school physics but did a science degree with a math major which had physics subjects. does anyone know if that'll work for covering high school physics requirements?
What's the idea behind the high school stuff anyway? Can't say I know of too many recruiting departments worldwide that are looking at high school results for deciding recruitment.

I believe they nominate the high school requirements to cut down on the amount of applicants. Not sure about how you stand. Give the recruitment department (yes they still exist!) a call in Sydney.

Get hold of a copy of the sylabus of the subjects that you studied at uni, then see if they cover the HSC physics sylabus. If the relevant topics are covered (mechanics, dynamics, kinematics, electronics, ect. ect. ), you should have a case for 'dispensation'...
If this fails I recommend University of Central Qld. in Rockhampton (dont have phone no. handy...) who offer a correspondance HSC Physics course (check with QF if it is still recognised by them) for $125. Good luck.
