who 2 talk 2 in Darwin
G'day, I'm on my way up from the east coast to look for flying work.I have a list of all the main companies to get in touch with on arrival but have heard that there are one or two key folk that it really pays to meet with, is this the case? If so can anyone enlighten me as to thier names? I have 800hrs with 200 turbine.
Cheers

it really is the same technique as looking for work anywhere else up here mate, go and see them all, then go and see them again, and again and again and again, with your hours you have a better chance than most, lots of guys come up here with 300 hours or less and nearly all the companies up here have 500 hr mins now due insurance requirements.
maybe whoever told you there is only two people to talk to is having a lend of you...go and see everyone, make a good impression, stay positive and be prepared to wait, you will get to know the people you need to talk to soon enough.
good luck, hope this helps.
