Part Time Grade III Instructor positions??

Can anyone give me a indication if there is much Weekend \ Part -time Grde III instructing work in Sydney? I have previously worked as a charter pilot up North and am looking at renewing my grade 3 and working P\T on weekends?
Any positive information greatly appreciated.

Cheers

I'm sure there'll be heaps so long as you find your own students.

Best of luck!

Leave Sydney. Try China Southern at Jandakot WA. 700 hrs per year easy. Gr3 to Gr 1 in just over 12 months. Ops Manager Peter Nottle 0894174777. But you will be based in Merredin (country WA) .

Otherwise, dont give up the day job in Sydney, and dream about flying. It will happen in Sydney, but VERY VERY slowly.

Your choice.

China Southern will generally not hire grade 3 's from my conversation with them unless you are close to meeting grade 2 minimums.

Smile China Southern Conditions

Here you go guys,

This is a combination of several posts over the past few months from several different guys, but all good info. (Apologies for my plagerism!!)

Conditions of employment:
- CPL or higher
- valid instructor rating
- valid class one medical
- must fly at least 800 hours per year (includes sim)
- 6 weeks annual leave per year
- 20 days sick leave per year
- pay varies:

Basic Grade 2 or 3 will start on around $32,000, basic grade 1 around $34,000. If you get cleared for teaching sim (hold or have held MECIR) you will get around an additional $3847 to any of the above rates.

After the first year of service you will also get an additional $1000, and 500ish every year after that.

$40000+ if training in MECIR phase (Reqd GR1, META & MECIR).

You are usually based in Merredin until grade one achieved.
Highlights: The pool, heaps of flying.
Lowlights: The nightlife.

Good company to work for.
Fleet consists of 30+ Grob115c2 singles, 5 PA34 Seneca V's (2yr old), 2 Citation Jets ( buckleys and none of getting on these!)

I would strongly suggest to put some thought into putting an application in. The person to contact is the ops manager -

Peter Nottle ([email protected]) ph 08 9417 4777

Good luck!
