Aerial Patrol creating own work

It is alledged from those I know in low places that a C152 that performed a force landing at Appin recently was operated by a school attached to a southcoast search and rescue operator, does this mean we have moved to the stage where companies are forced to create their own work? (Onoy joking before people get there knickers in a knot). What was scary from the alledged reports is that the aircraft was returning from a nav ex and ran out of fuel with both a student and instructor on board. Recently the dual CFI/CP left the company (under a cloud) stating if a certain person was employed he would leave, could be his doubts were justified after all?:

What a fishing trip of a post.

Are you talking about VH-WFK? If so there was only one POB. So there goes your theory. The pilot tried getting in to Nowra but got caught in the gloop.

Thank you Zarg. Smoking a pipe is probably much safer than posting on PPRUNE.

More information has emerged about the second C152 accident, apparently there may have been too much air in the tanks.

This is all very intriguing. Two C152's down, one with instructor apparently, CFI/CP(?) 'leaving', Go on - tell us the goss - it is supposed to be a rumour network after all!

There wouldn't be a bit of politics and in-fighting around the Illawarra Regional would there? Such lovely people.
