Class 1 medical
Hi all.
I have temporarily left the avation industry for a science degree (a fallback qual. if the piloting goes to the dogs). My medical is about to expire.
Should I spend the $100 or so per year for the next 3 years to keep the Class 1, or will I be able to renew the certificate after I've done my degree, without going through all the initial issue stuff (ecg, opthamology etc) I will still be under 25 when I'm out of Uni, so I wouldn't have had to do it anyway, just wondreing if the break will make a difference?
