Question Easterns & NJS Dash 8 Query

Hi,

I wonder if any Dash 8 drivers with Easterns or NJS can tell me what their company procedure is for chocking aircraft during turn arounds.

Do you use chocks, if so on the mains or nose?

Do you compliment their use with the park brake? Why or why not?

Thanks

RAIM

Chocks on nosewheels and park brake on at EAA. Chocks are in until after start, all apart from at Ml where chocks are removed before start (Southern procedure). On o/n's away from Sy chocks on mains as well. Park brake stays on from the time you stop until you want to move again.
