Can an airline see if a candidate has failed ATPL exams or is this confidential?
As above, I have a student who has failed one of his ATPL exams and wants to know whether airlines can see this in the process of recruiting/hiring (or at any point during employment really)?
I don’t believe they can directly access that information however I definitely know they can request it in the process of your application.
‘P’s get Degrees mate, no-one cares if you’ve failed any. As long as you’ve passed them all when required.

They clearly use your pass rate in some of their decision making.
I know of at least one airline manager who failed his ATPL on numerous occasions. Even had a BS cover story so his delicate and narcissist ego wouldn't be bruised.
In the end, once he passed nobody gave a F#ck!

When a person makes an application, there is a boilerplate disclaimer at the end of the application that everything provided is true.
Failed a number of written exams in my training - Provided you have the theory credit the airlines in Australia don't really care. The only time I am aware of exam results being asked for is interviews in the USA.

This thread is redundant.
Yes. They will be able to see it as all exam results will be listed on the CASA prerequisite report that they'll ask you to provide during the initial employment process.
With that said, they don't care as long as you have the full ATPL exam credit.
