Skycam Network Down

The Skycam network ‘went down’ a couple of weeks ago and my attempts to contact Paul Deegan have been to no avail. Does anyone know where Paul is these days? If he’s gone away and is uncontactable, does anyone have any insight into how one might go about restoring the network?

The cameras on my hangar serve a useful security purpose, along with the other useful purposes they serve. But only when they’re working...

I spoke to him on Friday and he said that the server had gone down and he had no control over them fixing it. Expected it to be last Friday arvo.

You can move to my fully redundant network at no cost if you know your camera password. I keep the images for 7 days as a value add for our friends at the ATSB.

Thanks Squawk. Hopefully Paul will catch up with his emails and the server will be fixed, soon!

I don't want to get into the middle of a Pepsi/Coke or AvPlan/OzRunways thing. I'll wait to see what happens. Paul's a good guy (as I'm sure you are too).

It’s all good, I don’t profit from all his customers heading in my direction, so the offer is there if needed.

I believe he’s not adding any new sites and is not supporting problems with existing systems, so if they start to break and cameras need replacing, I’m assuming I’ll get some more calls.
