Warnervale Airport Restrictions Act review
For those of you who are aware of the ongoing issues surrounding Warnervale Airport, the State Government have been very supportive of our plight, and have agreed to look into the bizarre Act which governs usage of the airport.
This has implications for removing restrictive movement caps and the crazy 24 hr email notice requirement.
Anyone can put a submission in, and it would be appreciated if you could share the following link and encourage all pilots to do so. This is crucial to ensure a future for GA between Sydney and Newcastle.
Some notes about the situation from the Central Coast Aero Club page:
“Below is a Community Submission Guide to the WAR Act review - Over the coming days CCAC will be publishing a lot of information to keep you informed on the process and give you enough
Information to log a submission to the review board. We apologise in advance, this may take some reading.
Note: your submission to the review board does not need to be War & Peace but every submission will count.
The review will focus on 2 questions.
1) Is the WAR Act 'relevant and necessary' and should it remain?
2) If the review determines the Act 'is still relevant' & should remain, how should it be amended and futureproofed?

It is important that your submission to the review should, where possible be in your own words. However, if any of the information on the CCAC pages is relevant to you, feel free to use it.
Submissions that are personalised carry much more weight and tell your individual story and experience.
That said, below are a few points that you can use to help in drafting your submission. You will also find paragraphs of reference material on the CCAC website related to the WAR Act in the last week.
* Describe your relationship with the airport and the impact that has had on you.
* If you have knowledge of the WAR Act, explain what you understand of it and how it can affect the operations of the Aero Club, private operators, itinerant aircraft, emergency services, etc.
* If you've been personally affected by the 24hr prior permission required (PPR), give an example of how this has affected you, what plans you had to change and the impact that this caused
* Council resurfacing the runway in 2015 laid claims that the runway had been lengthened and thus the WAR Act has been triggered, imposing the 88 movement cap. Include in your submission, your response to how this movement cap would impact on the operations of the airport and any operators that conduct activities on the airport.
* Detail what benefits the airport provides and will continue to provide to the community. Examples include but are not limited to support for emergency services, aviation related education and skills training, youth opportunities such as hosting the Australian Air League and the Scouts, skilled employment opportunities, facilitates tourism, supporting charitable works and training the many private, commercial, airline and RAAF pilots that this country needs.
* Explain what you would like to see happen to the WAR Act. The CCAC would like to see the Act repealed. If however the review concludes that the Act remains relevant, the movement cap should be removed for aircraft lighter than 5700kgs or reset the Act and approve the current runway length of 1196mtrs.”

This mentality of opposition to everything .....notice that every single proposal from a small house to the largest nation building projects are vigourously fought against. This is why are are a 3rd rate country and deserve to be taken over by the Chinese.
Simply fly to Warnervale and land. Take off fly around do low level circuits with props out of sync do touch and go landings, full power passes down the runway. They can get stuffed and there is NOTHING they can do to you.

We live in the Age of Bureaurats, who have the "power" and wish to control the lives of citizens with idiot dictats,,,most of which sorely impact on your rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness / nornal freedoms, Its what they do to justify sucking on the tax/ratepayers tit, with a "job"
