Professional pilot's logbook - aviation theory centre (atc)
Guys,
Years ago I bought a logbook made by ATC (Aviation Theory Centre) that was thicker than the standard logbook and aptly named "Professional Pilot's Logbook". Any ideas where I could pick up one of these logbooks ? I have checked several online pilot stores in Australia to no avail. Surely, someone still has supplies of this logbook.
Happy Flying.

Thicker = professional? I think I get the link...
Airservices sells them, but you have to send a photo of yourself wearing a professional pilot’s shoes and shirt (the latter with epaulets), plus a certified copy of your CPL.

I just love this web site. A first time poster gets ridiculed, how typical.
Greetings aj33, nice to have you on board. Welcome to PPRUNE. I know the logbook you mean but sadly can't tell you where to get one. Perhaps try in the USA where people will actually want to do business with you and supply you with your needs without ridicule. Here in Australia we are still colonials descended from convicts and we have an attitude problem. Sorry.

That's what PPRuNe has come to. Being ridiculed by moderators!
aj333, ATC may have discontinued the logbook a few years ago. I bought mine in 2009 and haven't really seen them since. It was a bit more cost effective to have one 4 times larger than the standard ATC logbook.

Someone is unwilling or unable to do an internet search to locate a source for a pretentiously-named chunk of blank paper, and we’re not allowed to take the piss? Forget what PPRuNe is coming to. What is the world coming to?
My logbook’s a school exercise book, named Loggie McLogfacebook with a picture of Biggles pasted on the front. You’re more than welcome to poke fun at me.
BTW: If you want a really thick - sorry, I mean really professional - logbook, buy a loose leaf binder of that thickness and fill it with loose leafs. Job done.

The standard ones cost about $25. I reckon after you have filled one up you will have almost earned enough to afford to buy the next one so wouldn't worry too much**
**Well, unless you are on instructor wages in which case an exercise book may be the most cost effective option

aj33...
Many years ago I took 2 logbooks to a bookbinder and had them bound into one.
Maybe worth a thought, although I suspect Bookbinders may be a bit thin on the ground in Abu Dhabi.
Emeritus.

Got 8 books on my shelf, every one is different from the others - makes it easier to locate a specific flight, but they don't look consistent.
