Weipa Air

Does anybody know who owns/operates Weipa Air these days, heard Barrier where trying to buy in before there dramas started. Next i heard was that Flighttec has taken them over.

Last I knew it was HeliCharters that owned them. Called it a similar name, something like "AeroCharters".

HeliCharters 'did' in fact have WeipaAir, they took over in the second half of 2010. As of not so long ago, like Slam Click said, EastAir took over. From what I hear it had a lot to do with rather large and unpaid maintenance bills owed to Flightech by HeliCharters.
