I dont plan on betting my life on anything on the panel. not even the MGL.
but i do like a modern, uncluttered panel. and i like gadgets..
but hopefully, the dual independent Ilevils setup will eliminate the risks of 1 failing.

They live and walk amongst us.... special people... they call them pilots.
Nah, he really wanted a (Ford badged) Patrol, but mummy would only sign off on a softroader XTrail.
The car to the left of "Maverick" is a lot more fun to drive..
Melbourne to London and now London to New York
This is the link to an incredible trip happening right now, Michael flying an experimental SeaRey amphibious. Many photos and short explanations of this ballsy trip.

Very well done - you must have been very busy.
I seem to recognise Old Warden further back in the series too.
I'd love to spend a month or two in England just chasing the air show series. Not going to happen now unfortunately.

It can't possibly be Manila - where's the "expect the unexpected" banner?
Cheers!

Couldn't be more wrong if I tried. The background looked like slum roofs.
' Expect the unexpected' is so correct Dora, 24 in Manila was very slippery for some reason, had a few 'moments' there, especially in heavy rain. Loved the bullet holes on the wall of the Tower. The most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life was our Load Controller there. Totally mesmerised was our George. Lovely people.

On 8th August 2015, there was an attempt to break the Guinness Book Of Records 'Most aircraft take offs in 1 hour'. It was held at Dunkeswell Airfield in Devon, U.K.

The video runs for nearly 29 mins.
(I note that fellow Australian, Andy Hardy is there with his 1967 Cherokee 'C' G-ATYS. The same aircraft that he and Sam Kidd flew to Australia from England, nearly two years ago.)

B****y Manila!
Next some I see you let me tell you the tale of taking President Ramos and his party of hangers-on (sawn-off shotguns and all) into Manila - as a fellow connoisseur of the absurd you'll love it.
Our load controller was ugly! But you could achieve incredible amounts of kudos by buying the cabin crew one of those ice cream buckets they sold in the terminal!
