Sad news, Dr Ross Ewing passed away a few days ago after a short illness. Most, if not all, New Zealand pilots will be very familiar with Dr Ewing's work in the field of Aviation Medicine. His various books are very informative, well written, and easy to read.

Rest In Peace Dr Ewing, you made a difference.

Was very sorry to hear this news - I've never met Ross personally but I've read many of his textbooks and other aviation books, and always found them both informative and also genuinely enjoyable to read.
