Elite Synthetic Trainers
I'm thinking of purchasing an Elite AT-11i Synthetic Flight Trainer. It'll be used for Pilot recency as well as IRR. Has anyone got a TSO IFR GPS hooked into the system for the purpose of RNAV Non-Precision approaches? I'm very interested to hear how they perform. If anyone's got one for sale even better! Drop me a PM.

I've got a couple of hours in that sim... (approach recency)
We have a Garmin 430 hooked up, works just like it does in the plane apart from no GPS signal.
The only thing I don't like about that particular sim is the visuals... could be a little better, but it's good for IFR training etc...

slim, just be aware that, I think, there is a commercial and a private version of the Elite package and for currency you need the commercial version. Further, even if you have the proper Elite sim it does not entitle you to use it for currency until it is approved by CASA.
