There is still good in Aus GA (RAAus)

a nice heartwarming positive story in the aviation community in OZ, not only that, but proof there is still good people left in this industry.

original story, im sure most will remember Solomon. The Ethiopian (am i still allowed to call him that in Oz now? considering the recent legal results concerning a Mr Bolt?) boy who started to build an aircraft of his own design in his family garage using scrap materials?? well,

Aspiring pilot gets a generous boost - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

and videos documenting his progress.

Note to GA pilots.. part 2 contains an explanation of how to use a rudder

Thumbs up

Thanks UL I enjoyed that brings back a few memories from 20 something years ago. Impressed with the calm attitude of the instructor & good photography as well.
cheers
