Many memories of Bruce,
I was with Australian Airlines whilst he was the big boy at the ALAEA, I returned to QF when he was GMLMO.
Remember at ,my interview, him asking me why I left QF and my reply was, I never did I leave Australian Airlines, he smiled and saw my point.
I have no intention to comment on Bruce's transition from Unionist to QF management, however at the time of my return, we, as LAME's, reported to Bruce.
After Bruce was departed, we reported to some guy called Murrey and his bridges of trust. History from then is well known to all LAME's.
Rest in Peace Bruce,
I will always remember, after a few beers, how he said he could not believe the offer on the table that Australian Airlines placed after AWA thought that they could take the Avionic LAME market ( this was in the time that Radio only were subcontrated to AWA.
Also I remember ALAEA SP being balled out in SYD with regards to a conversation he had with a Transport Driver regarding who, from what hotel get's dropped off first.
I respect everyones view, but from me.
RIP Bruce, you always had and still have my respect.
