Spare seat thread?
Hey all,
Did a search and checked through the fora hoping to happen across the spare seats thread, however it appears to have been deleted.. if that is indeed the case, what is the reasoning? One has been chugging along nicely on the Private Flying forum for six years, however that rarely garners any attention from outside the continent.
Cheers

Because every time a thread of that nature is posted on here, it becomes a mass-debate over whether or not the "advertising" of a "seat" becomes a commercial operation.
Some would suggest that asking your "mates" on PPruNe is advertising, some would disagree.
1. Stalemate
2. Slagging match quoting regulations
3. Thread deletion

Problem is the category of "mates on pprune" also obviously includes the news media who often quote pprune, probably CASA, and people on that other aviation pictures site who also love to cut and paste from pprune and who knows who else is reading this forum which is after all available to be read by the public.
